I’ve got my plans, to-do lists, timer etc. but sometimes it just feels like I’m on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the spring, encountering nothing but detours.
OK, so I planned to add an opt-in box to my site. Tutorial says it takes 5 minutes to set up but wait- the theme I selected isn’t saving my changes and there is some loopy workaround to fix it. Get another theme.
Now that I’ve activated a new theme, everything-widgets, banners, lists are all out of place or don’t fit the contents area. Fix all that and now the new theme will not accommodate the opt-in form I had originally set out to install on my blog. Re-install old theme and continue to look for better theme. In other words, back to square one-deal with the loopy workaround until the bug is fixed.
I”m not complaining, I’m just saying…

I feel you you are at the stage I have been at the beginning.I started with your same theme, but I worked onto my blog to personalize it and apply a balance between a minimalistic theme and a fuctional theme I can tweak.
